The Quarantones Chorus will sing music that touches the heart and lingers in memory

In pursuit of this mission we will focus on and be recognized for the quality of the music we sing, our resonant and dynamic sound, and our engagement with the broader choral community.

The Quarantones Chorus will:

1. Seek out and perform music that is diverse, warming and infectious

2. Select music that includes a range of complexity that provides “stretch” to our members

3. Bring that music to the public through our annual concert series

4. Engage in and support the choral community in our area

Members of the Quarantones Chorus commit themselves to:

1. Work on their music between rehearsals

2. Strive for continuing personal musical growth

3. Rehearse in a spirit of support and respect for each other and our Director

4. Sing with joy in a spirit of camaraderie and good humour

5. Wholeheartedly participate in the activities and performances of the choir
