Mission Statement

The Quarantones Male Chorus will sing music that touches the heart and lingers in memory. In pursuit of this mission we will focus - and be recognized for - the quality of the music we sing, our resonant and dynamic sound, and our engagement with the broader choral community.

The Quarantones Male Chorus Will:

  1. Seek out and perform music that is diverse, warming and infectious,

  2. Select music that challenges our members to grow in their singing abilities,

  3. Bring that music to the public through our annual concert series. and

  4. Engage in and support the choral community in our area.

Members of the Quarantones Male Chorus Will Commit To:

  1. Working on their music between rehearsals,

  2. Strive for continuing personal musical growth,

  3. Rehearse in a spirit of support and respect for one another and our Director,

  4. Sing with joy in a spirit of camaraderie and good humour, and

  5. Wholeheartedly participate in the activities and performances of the choir.
